Last night I saw "Stomp Out Loud" at the Fox. It was a great show. Then I came home and studied some about Egyptian Mythology. The Egyptian Pantheon would have to be my favorite. I am different from most Pagans. I have a Father God- Ra, and a Mother Goddess- Isis, but I admire Osiris and Thoth, also, so on my alter I have two smaller candles for them. Thoth is such a wonderful God- the God of the Mind. One thing I want to learn how to do is cast runes. I am learning to write them now, although I'm not sure as to the accuracy of my alphabet, but to learn to cast them would be wonderful. I also want to take some Tarot classes. Those are my two favorite forms of divination, and probably the only 2 I will dabble in for quite a while. I have to go to work at 12. Hopefully I'll get to see Scott today. i miss him sooo much! Today my grandparents are coming in town and we are going to a restaurant called "Bo-Bo China". They will be disturbed at the fact that I eat no meat. They will stare when I speak. They will pray to their Christian god tonight for my soul. They don't know that I am Wiccan, just that something is very wrong with me. They will recommend a good Therapist to my parents. I will go and he/she will say that I have "emotional issues" and that I "escape my problems" with gods and goddesses. She will be wrong, I will laugh and apologize to the Earth Mother and Horned Hunter for her disrespect. I will smile, I will laugh, I will be happy, despite their disdain. I will not show disrespect, I will be tolerant, I will be mature. |

Merry Meet! This is my new live journal account. It is going to be a helper along My Path. First, let me outline some of my beliefs.
I am a new Wiccan. My name is NadiaTalitha, and my study of choice is Electic, with Greco-Roman tendencies and some Celtic, along with a bit from here and a bit from there.
When I say new, I definitely mean new. I have begun to study my heart out and also meditation. I have not yet cast my first circle or any spells or anything. I don't know when the time will come that I will be ready for that, but I am in no hurry. First I want to study, study, study, so that when the time comes, I will not be hesitant.
